1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas, drained
1/2 onion, chopped
Minced jalapeno pepper, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
In a medium-size pot, combine black-eyed peas, onion, jalapeno peppers and black pepper. Heat all ingredients to simmer; let cook 30 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
