1 pound fresh okra
1 small onion, sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup canned tomato soup, undiluted
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Wash okra thoroughly, then cut off stems. Slice. Brown sliced onion in butter. Add okra, and cook for 3 minutes. Put into a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper, then pour tomato soup over the top. Sprinkle with parsley and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
