Wild Rice Stuffing

1 cup uncooked wild rice (may substitute brown rice if wild rice is not available)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 to 1 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 cup diced or chopped cooked ham
3 tablespoon margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon thyme

Bring water to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat and simmer until the rice is tender - about 30 to 40 minutes. Sauté onion and mushrooms in margarine for 5 minutes. Add to rice along with the ham. Season with spices.

Makes 8 servings.
