1 (8 ounce) pkg. herbed stuffing bread
3 cup cooked chicken
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
4 cups chicken broth
6 slightly beaten eggs
1 recipe pimiento-mushroom sauce (recipe follows)
Prepare stuffing. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Top this layer with chicken. In saucepan melt butter, blend in flour and seasonings. Add cool broth and cook until thickened. Stir a Small amount into beaten eggs and then return it to hot mixture. Pour over chicken and dressing. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cut in squares and serve with Pimiento Sauce.
Pimiento Sauce:
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup chopped pimientos
Heat and stir until hot.
Yield: 12 servings.
