Bacon Onion Cornbread Stuffing

1/2 cup chopped onion
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 2/3 cups water
1 (6 ounce) package Stove Top cornbread stuffing mix

Cook onion and bacon in saucepan until onion is tender. Add water and contents of vegetable/seasoning packet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 5 minutes.

Add stuffing crumbs; stir just to moisten. Cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

Serves 4.
