Baked Tomatoes

From the kitchen of Martin James, Copenhagen, Denmark

4 large tomatoes
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon onion, grated
Salt and pepper

Cut tomatoes in half crosswise and put into a greased baking pan.

Melt butter in small skillet, add garlic and fry a few minutes. Remove garlic, add onion and cook until tender. Add bread crumbs and mix. Spoon on top of tomatoes, season to taste.

Bake at about 375 degrees F for 20 minutes or so until piping hot.
