Makes about 1 cup.
It takes less than 10 minutes to transform your favorite jam into a flavorful topping for ice cream or frozen yogurt.
1 cup jam
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2/3 cup cold water
2 teaspoons lemon juice
In small, heavy-bottom saucepan, warm jam over low heat until it melts, stirring frequently. Mix cornstarch with cold water, stir into jam and bring mixture to a boil. Lower heat; simmer 2 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice.
Serve warm.
