8 slices dark rye bread
8 ounces thinly sliced, cooked beef
8 teaspoons thousand island dressing
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 16-ounce jar sauerkraut, drained
On each of four slices dark rye bread layer 2 ounces sliced cooked beef. Drizzle 2 teaspoons salad dressing over each. Spoon one-fourth of the sauerkraut over each. Then place one slice of cheese and top with slice of dark rye.
Grill in buttered skillet on both sides until hot through.
Makes 4 servings.
