Creole Roast

1 chuck roast
Salt and pepper
1 lemon, sliced
1 onion, chopped
Ketchup

Season roast with salt and pepper. Place in roasting pan. Arrange lemon slices on top. Sprinkle with chopped onions. Cover with ketchup. Add 3/4 cup water. Bake covered at 350 degrees F until meat is tender.

Serve roast and pan juices with rice or potatoes.
