3 cups crispy rice cereal
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 pounds chicken pieces, skinned
Position knife blade in food processor bowl. Add cereal and walnuts; top with cover and process until finely ground. Set aside.
Combine butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper; stir well. Dredge chicken in butter mixture, then in cereal mixture. Arrange chicken in a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan; pour any remaining butter mixture over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until done.
