Apricot Onion Chicken

1 (3 pound) fryer chicken, cut up
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup Catalina salad dressing
1/2 (1.25 ounce) package dried golden onion soup mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Place the chicken with skin-side up in pan.

Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Spoon over the chicken. Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
