Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

4 cups sliced peaches, canned or fresh
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup margarine
Dash of nutmeg
Cinnamon to taste
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup water (if using canned peaches)

Place in unbaked pie shell and cover with crust. Place fork holes or knife slices so steam may leave pie. Sprinkle top with sugar. Bake for approximately 45 minutes in 325 degree F oven.
