Chocolate Chip Brownies

1/4 cup butter or margarine - melted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Cream butter or margarine, sugar and eggs in a small bowl until fluffy. Add sour cream and vanilla extract. Beat well.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Spread evenly in greased 9-inch baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
