Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies

1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup quick-coking rolled oats, uncooked
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine cake mix, oats, butter and eggs in large bowl; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheets to wire racks. Cool completely.

Makes 4 dozen.
