Sweet and Sour Chicken

1 (2 1/2 to 3 pound) fryer, cut up
8 ounces dark red Russian salad dressing
1 envelope onion soup mix
10 ounces apricot preserves
Water

Put chicken pieces in a shallow baking dish. Mix dressing, soup mix, preserves and a small amount of water. Pour mixture over chicken and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Makes 4 servings.
