Chicken Stuffing BakeSource: Jan Taylor 1 cup water In 1-quart saucepan over high heat, heat water and butter to boiling. In large bowl, pour hot water mixture over stuffing mix; toss to mix well. Pat 1/2 of the stuffing mixture into 12 x 8-inch baking dish. In medium bowl, stir together soup, mayonnaise, milk, chicken, celery, peas until well mixed. Spoon evenly over stuffing mixture in baking dish top with remaining stuffing mixture. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings. |
