Pork Chop Casserole

4 pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1 cup uncooked rice
1 1/2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
Mushrooms (optional)

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown pork chops. Mix rice, water, mushroom soup and mushrooms. Place in bottom of a baking dish. Place browned pork chops on top of rice. Pour cheese soup over pork chops. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes.
