Monkey Bread (Bread Machine)

1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons water
1 large egg
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups bread flour
4 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

Add milk, water, egg, 1 tablespoon. butter, salt, flour, 4 teaspoons sugar and yeast to bread machine. Select dough cycle. When cycle is complete roll dough into 20 balls, stir sugar and cinnamon together.

Roll each ball in butter then in sugar. Arrange half of the balls in the bottom of a greased ring mold or tube pan.

Repeat with the remaining dough, making a second layer, cover and let rise till doubled 35-45 minutes.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cool 1 minute on rack then invert onto a plate.

Serve warm.
