Fresh Blueberry Muffins

1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease twelve muffin pans or use paper in each muffin cups.

Mix blueberries with 1 tablespoon four; set aside.

Combine remaining flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl.

Mix egg, milk and melted butter in another bowl. Stir egg mixture into dry ingredients until just combined. Gently stir in blueberries.

Scoop batter into prepared muffin cups. Bake muffins until golden, 18-22 minutes.
