Apple Quickie Sticky Buns

Put into large bowl:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 packages yeast

Heat until warm and add:

3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Add 1 egg; beat on high for 3 minutes.

Stir in by hand:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chopped apples

Cover; let rise 30 minutes.

While dough is rising, combine and heat until melted:

3/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup nuts
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 tablespoon water

Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on topping. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes; cool 1 minute. Cover with cookie sheet; invert.
