Beef and RiceSource: Jan Taylor 3 tablespoons butter or margarine In large saucepan, melt butter. Add onion, ground beef, salt and pepper; cook about 10 minutes, stirring often; drain fat. Add peas, mushrooms, soup and rice; blend well. Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Lay bacon slices over top. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour or until hot and bubbly. |
