Luck of the Irish Stew

This is a traditional St. Patrick's Day dish.

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
5 Irish potatoes, chopped
5 carrots, chopped
1 can corned beef
2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in large saucepan and cook over medium heat until potatoes and carrots are tender.
