Barbecued Spareribs

4 pounds spareribs, cracked, cut into 3-rib portions
1 cup Russian dressing
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
1/2 cup water

In large skillet, cover spareribs with water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 45 minutes. Drain.

In small saucepan, combine Russian Dressing, Lipton Onion Soup Mix and water. Bring to a boil; then simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Grill ribs over hot coals; or broil, brushing frequently with sauce-mixture about 30 minutes or until tender and crisp.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
