Butter Sautéed Apples

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 apples (Golden Delicious, MacIntosh or Granny Smith),
    peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch chunks
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Melt butter in a large nonstick skilled over medium-high heat. Add apples and sprinkle with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring until tender.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
