Danish Browned Potatoes

Small new potatoes, cooked and peeled, hot or cold
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Salt

Melt butter in frying pan. When hot add sugar. Heat and stir gently until sugar just starts to turn brown and caramelize. Add potatoes. Turn to coat and caramelize. Lower heat to thoroughly heat potatoes if necessary. Sprinkle with a little salt.
