Carnation Butterscotch SauceSource: Carnation 2 cups packed brown sugar Combine sugar, evaporated milk and corn syrup in a 1-quart glass measure. Add butter. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir. Reduce power to MEDIUM (50%); microwave, uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer or until heated through; stir once while cooking. (Do not boil.) Add vanilla extract. Yields about 2 1/2 cups. |
