1 (21 ounce) can cherry or apple pie filling or other flavor
1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)
Place the pie filling into a crockpot.
Combine dry cake mix and melted butter; mix until crumbly then sprinkle over pie filling. Sprinkle the nuts over the top. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours.
