1 (4 to 5 pound) beef roast, any cut
1 bottle beer
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Mix together beer, ketchup and brown sugar. Stir well. Put beef into crockpot and pour liquid mixture over the top. Cook for about 4 to 5 hours on HIGH or for 6 to 7 hours on LOW. Turn meat over once while cooking.
Serve with egg noodles, a green salad and fresh crusty bread.
