Raspberry Rings

2 (17 ounce) packages frozen puff pastry sheets
    (4 sheets total), thawed according to package directions
Raspberry preserves (for filling)
Butter
Confectioners' sugar

Gently unfold a sheet of puff pastry on a floured work surface. Roll it into a rectangle approximately 9 x 6 inches. With a pizza cutter, cut the dough into six 1-inch strips. Brush melted butter on three of the strips. On the remaining three strips, spread the raspberry preserves. Place two strips together, placing the butter and raspberry sandwiched in the middle. Slowly twist the dough, then form a ring. Seal by overlapping at the top of the ring and squeezing the two ends together. Place on baking paper on a cookie sheet at least two inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees F for approximately 20 minutes.

When cool, dust with confectioners' sugar.
