Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 eggs
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 (18.25 ounce) box Betty Crocker cake mix, divided
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Beat eggs, water, butter, peanut butter and half of the dry cake mix until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and the chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

NOTES: Use your choice of yellow, devil's food or white cake mix.

Variation: To make Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars, spread dough in greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jellyroll pan. Bake about 20 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.

Makes 30 bars.
