Crispy Lemon Cookies

1 (18.25 ounce) box lemon cake mix
1 cup crisp cereal
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter or margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients; blend well and form into 1-inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten balls before baking. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes; cool for 1 minute and remove from cookie sheet.

Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
