Pin Cushion

Small amount of nice material
Scissors
Wooden "curtain ring"
Needle and thread
Big mug or cup or a small bowl
Stuffing or wadding
Piece of firm card
Pen
P.V.A. or strong craft glue

Trace on to the material, around your mug/bowl. Cut out the circle you should have. Sew around the perimeter of the circle with a running stitch, and put it aside.

Trace around your curtain ring on to the card. Stick the card to one side of your curtain ring with glue.

Pick up the circle of material and begin to pull the thread tight. When the material, looks like a tiny little bag, put as much, wadding/stuffing in as you can. Then pull the thread, until the bag is closed, and take away the needle.

Glue the ball you have onto the curtain ring, and wait for it to dry.

Once dry, this makes a perfect pin cushion.
