Fried Rice and Pork Chops4 to 6 pork chops Brown chops in a large skillet. Remove chops. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the pan drippings. Brown the rice from the Rice-A-Roni until the rice turns white and the noodles are brown. Add onions; cook until limp. Add water and the flavor pack from the Rice-A-Roni. Stir and add sliced mushrooms. Bring to boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Place chops on top of the rice mixture and sprinkle with soy sauce. Cover and simmer until rice is tender. |
