8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, not margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 boxes confectioners' sugar
Melt cream cheese and butter on top of stove in pan. When melted turn off stove and add peanut butter and vanilla extract and beat well. Pour into a lightly grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with pecans. Store in refrigerator until firm.
