2/3 cup cocoa
3 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine cocoa with sugar and salt. Add milk; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook to 232 degrees F, or until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat; drop in butter. Cool to lukewarm.
Add vanilla extract and beat until mixture thickens. Pour into buttered pan and cut into squares when cool.
