1 cup water
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white Karo syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon maple extract (Mapeline)
Combine water and sugar in medium saucepan. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil. Boil gently, covered, for ten minutes. Stir in Karo syrup. Remove from heat. Add extracts.
Makes 1 pint.
