1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
In 8 or 9-inch ungreased round cake pan, combine butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Place in oven for 3 to 4 minutes or until margarine melts; blend well. Sprinkle with pecans.
Remove dough from can in 2 rolled sections. DO NOT UNROLL DOUGH. Cut each roll of dough into 6 slices.
In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; dip both sides of each slice in sugar mixture. Arrange slices in pan; sprinkle with any remaining sugar mixture. Bake for 17 to 23 minutes or until golden brown.
