Banana Nut Loaves

1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup water
1 cup mashed bananas
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Grease and flour two loaf pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Add baking soda to dry cake mix; stir in well. Add 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup mashed bananas. Replace remaining liquid called for with 2/3 cup mashed bananas. Fold in nuts. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
