This is a great bread bowl for "white" chili.
12 (4- to 6-inch) crusty rolls
6 tablespoons olive oil
3 teaspoons chipotle powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cut off top of each roll and reserve. Hollow out soft interior, leaving about 1 inch of bread, forming a bowl. Use bread from inside for breadcrumbs.
In small bowl combine oil, chipotle and garlic powder. Brush interior of each roll with oil mixture. Place on baking sheet and bake 15 minutes or until crisp.
Ladle about 1 cup chili into each bread bowl and serve with garnishes.
10-12 servings
