1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
2-3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
Pour 3/4 cup warm water into a small bowl. Add sugar and yeast, stir until yeast Dissolves. Let stand five minutes until foamy.
In a food processor combine flour, oil, and salt. Pulse to combine, about 5 seconds Add the yeast mixture and process 10 seconds. Drizzle in the remaining water until a dough ball forms then whirl for 20 rotations. Add more flour if needed until dough is smooth, not tacky. Smooth the dough out with fingers on a floured surface. Oil a pan and lightly dust with cornmeal or bread crumbs. Put dough on pan. Top with desired toppings. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
Makes one thick crust or two thin crusts.
