Taco Puffs

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 (16.3 ounce) tube large refrigerator biscuits
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until it is browned. Drain well. Return beef to skillet; add chopped onion and taco seasoning and prepare according to package directions. Cool slightly.

Flatten biscuits into 4-inch circles and place on a greased cookie sheet. Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture onto half of each biscuit; top with 2 tablespoons shredded cheese. Wet outer edges of biscuit and fold the half over the meat mixture; press edges tightly to seal. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 8 servings.
