6 jalapenos, fresh or pickled, cut in half
lengthwise and seeded
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 slices uncooked bacon, cut into thirds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Stuff each jalapeno half with cream cheese and wrap with a piece of bacon. Place on a baking sheet with cream cheese side up, secure with a wooden pick and bake until bacon is done.
These can also be done on a closed grill.
Makes 12 appetizers.
